Hurricane Season goes from June 1 to November 30.  There is nothing coming yet, but it is always good to be prepared.  We had Irma in 2017 and Ian in 2022.  Fortunately we did not have any major issues except a few lost shingles in 2017.  There is a lot of good information that can be found in the Emergency/Hurricane section at www.townhomesofwestlake.com.  Some important issues for those who don’t live here during this time period:
– Store all outside furniture and decorations in the garage before leaving.
– Have a local contact that can hire someone to put up hurricane panels (and knows where the hardware is located) and check on the home before and after any event.
– Go to www.usps.com to leave a temporary forwarding address with USPS.
