The Board has received some complaints about safety issues at the school bus stop at the end of Fox Sparrow Rd.  Please do not park in the areas marked as No Parking.  That area is to allow for the safe passage of cars trying to turn right on Sheldon Rd.  If they are forced to remain left of the center line, they could meet traffic head-on that are turning onto Fox Sparrow Rd from Sheldon Rd.  The other and more serious issue is that children are apparently running between cars to get to the other side of the road for some reason.  As fast as the traffic on Fox Sparrow Rd can be, that is quite dangerous.  Parents should always drop off and pick up on the south side of Fox Sparrow Rd so their children should never have a need to cross it.  Let’s be safe out there.  The Board is already paying off-duty Florida Highway Patrol to help manage speeding on Fox Sparrow Rd — let’s not make this a situation that needs a similar response.
